Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

This oatmeal chocolate chip cookie recipe combines hearty oats with velvety chocolate chips for a chewy and delicious treat. Easy to make, these cookies offer a delightful blend of textures and flavors, making them a perfect homemade indulgence for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Kosher Salt OR 1/2 tsp Table Salt
  • 1 tsp Gound Cinnamon
  • 1 Cup Unsalted Butter Room temperature
  • 3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup White Sugar
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 2 Tsp Vanilla
  • 1 1/2 Cup Rolled Oats Blend 1/2 Cup of rolled oats in a blender
  • 1 Cup Milk Chocoloate or Semi-Sweet Chips Use a blend of both kinds!

Instructions

  • Blend 1/2 cup of the rolled oats in a blender or food processor. Set to the side
  • Cream softened butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until fluffy.
  • Add egg and vanilla and mix untli just blended.
  • Add all-purpose flour, salt, baking powder, rolled outs, and blended rolled oats and mix until just blended.
  • Mix in chocolate chips by hand.
  • Let dough rest for 1 hour in refridgerator.
  • Evenly line parchment paper lined cookie sheet with 12 1" cookie balls.
  • Bake in a pre-heated 350 degree oven for 10. min or until the edges and peaks are golden brown.
